Wild Iris Farm is conveniently located 1.5 miles from the main entrance to Acadia National Park and its 47 miles of world-famous cariage roads.  The spectacular carriage roads were designed to be used by horses.  Many equestrians, whether they ride or drive their horses, have these carriage roads on their "must do" list.. If you are a local looking to board your horse on an annual basis, we've got you covered.  We encourage our boarders to feel at home in our boarder barn and they are welcome to visit their horses as often as possible.  Annual boarders have access to a tack room for their tack and supplies.

Our stalls are 12' x 12'.  Each stall has its own attached 12' x 12' outside area.  We have over 15 acres of pasture to accommodate horses that need turn-out.  Our fencing is safe, electrified, braided rope.  Grazing in our pastures is rotated on a regular basis.  Pastures are harrowed after and before grazing.
